To be doing rather than just dreaming is exciting. Looking forward to seeing more of "NGEDIT" when you unveil it. Thanks for mentioning it, it feels like a compliment. I've been developing NGEDIT for a bit over a year now, with some slowing down due to the release of the sister-product ViEmu (which was unforeseen, and is selling nicely, so I'm only the happier). NGEDIT, which most probably won't be called like that by its release, is gaining a better shape every day. The only thing I can add is that I'm even much more confident on its viability now than I was when I wrote those paragraphs. And I'm incredibly tired, mind you, working alone is very tough, which usually detracts from the enthusiasm. But the vision has become clearer over the months, and I now just know it's valid. I did pursue an idea that wouldn't leave me alone. The outcome so far don't validate that yet, but I hope what happens this year will actually start backing up the whole idea.
